Currently the longest trunk highway lakebed tunnel under construction in China, with a total length of 7.81 km and a total underwater length of 5.093 km, constructed using the method of open excavation of cofferdam. The unit volume of the project is large, the total investment of single bid section is up to 3 billion yuan, the total amount of concrete is up to 600,000 m3, and the consumption of reinforcement is up to more than 100,000 tons.
